1. Where and what is Ciccarone's Pizza Restaurant? Ciccarone's Fine Italian Pizza was located in Wolfeboro, NH.  We sold the restaurant in 2004 after many successful years in business and retired to our NH farm to write this book and others.  Our pizza and light Italian restaurant had more than 50% of the total market share between five local area pizza restaurants for several consecutive years (up to and including our final year in business) according to the Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce online poll.

3. What do you mean by free first contact?  There is no charge for the initial inquiry.  We will attempt to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.  You may have questions about the book, you may have specific questions not addressed in the book or you wish to inquire about consultation rates and our availability.   Please be specific.  We will determine whether we can help solve any problems you may have or if we can provide more extensive information tailored to specific circumstances.   We will return your call or correspondance to discuss how we can help you and the consultation arrangements and costs.

  4. How expensive is consultation?  On-line or phone consultation rates are fifty dollars for the first hour and thirty six dollars per hour thereafter, billed at twelve dollars per twenty minutes.  The charges shall encompass only that time used to answer questions or provide information that assists business start-up or enhancement.  There will be no other administrative charges or transmission charges for data provided to the client.  There will be no charges for the time spent on the actual inquiry if we are unable to solve a particular problem or assemble the necessary information to assist the client.   Design specific floorplans and/or equipment layouts with mechanical specifications will be billed out at fifty dollars per hour for drafting time, 1 dollar per sheet and shipping and handling charges for blue print drawings and specifications not to exceed twenty dollars.  Our ability to provide design services, drawings and specifications shall be determined by the extent of the design requirements and engineering license requirements in a particular state or province.

5. Can you help plan the kitchen and general layout?  Yes, our extensive experience in both the restaurant and design/construction fields uniquely qualifies us to help provide designs that maximize efficient economic use of space as well as technical guidance for the esthetic aspects of renovating. 

6. Does your book cover all aspects of the pizza business? Our book does cover all of the basic aspests of the pizza business.  There  are unique situations, however, that require insightful unique solutions to problems.  It is impossible to forcast every possible problem and the suitable solution.  We offer our consultation service in order to help clients find solutions to unusual problems as well as providing assistance with the entire process of setting up the business.

7.  What if I give you the wrong shipping address?  In the event that the book or CD does not arrive at the destination, Avalon Information Systems & Products will offer to provide the downloadable wire transfer of the book while a replacement CD is mailed.

8. What if my book comes damaged?  If your book or CD arrives damaged, Avalon Information Systems and Products will  offer to provide the downloadable wire transfer of the book while a new copy of the book or CD is mailed.  A prepaid USPS  mailer will be sent with the replacement for return of the damaged product.
